Just installed WP thru my CPanel. A newbie here so I have no idea how to set the blog url. Basically, the WP url I set up first was taking me to my website instead of my WP Blog. I was then able to log in. So I decided that I needed to add "/blog" at the end of my website url for the WP blog.

I followed the instructions from:
http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/

However after I did the changes I can't log in anymore.
Please help.
Thank you in advance,
Izzy

If you have installed wordpress through your website control panel using an automated script like fantastico, you might have chosen a folder name where the software is to be installed..

that folder name is the place where your word press blog can be accessed

say you entered...
afolder.... it would be http://www.yoursitename.___/afolder/
afolder/another .... it would be http://www.yoursitename.___/afolder/another/

if you have left the text box where you need to enter the folder name blank, then it amounts to saying that you want to install it in the root... in which case your website name itself is the blog url

Normally you set up a blog on your own website with the following address: http://www.yourname.com/blog
I think that the best course of action for you now is just to ring your webhost and ask them to reset it for you.
