Yo man, there are no pros. Meth alters receptors in your brain so that you become chemically dependent on it quickly. It causes you to lose your teeth. It causes massive weight loss. It causes overdose and death.
I know that there are some drugs out there we can actually see some good in. My friend, meth is not one of them.

Meth is like any other drug, it's incredibly fun at the beginning and it gets worse and worse until you realize that if you had any less dignity, you would be sucking a man's penis for an 8-ball.
With that said, the pro's and con's differ for each method of use. Swallowing it gives you a long lasting, mild high that takes for ever to come on. I've never swallowed meth except for exstasy, but with this method, you could theoretically use it responsibly. Snorting it is a fun, long high, but lacks the rush of smoking it. The first time you snort it you are going to scream because of the burn--IT HURTS. However after some regular use, the burn becomes enjoyable (the more it burns, the more its working.) Snorting it will really mess up your nose and cause you to get sore throats due to the irritants in meth.
Smoking it is by far the most enjoyable high, for me anyway. The rush is amazing. It tastes great, you don't cough, and you take the fattest hits, plus your sack lasts forever. However, after a while, you will be smoking for hours on end and still think "I'm not spun yet." This stuff messes up your teeth, hair, skin, brain, mouth, body, everything. Meth RAVAGES the body like a ***** tornado.
Injection is also an option, but just know that the first time you do it, you will most likely love it so much that you will enter into the worst life imaginable. I have never slammed.
My consequences have been: loss of family trust, being designated a "tweaker" by everyone I know, physical cravings to this day for it, some tooth damage, anger problems, arrest, and threats of jail. THIS STUFF WILL *** UP YOUR LIFE WITHOUT QUESTION. IT IS INEVITABLE.
Honestly though, if you are asking, there is nothing that anyone can do or say to keep you from using it. I bet what I just wrote makes you want to do it more. Just remember to be safe, INFORM YOURSELF, and eat/sleep even if you are spun. Good luck.

I have never done it. I would STRONGLY discourage anyone from using it. Just from my experience as a nurse I have seen soooooo many people who have come in after using meth or cocaine (kids too) and end up with a burst blood vessel in their brain. Now if you bleed in your brain there is no where for it to go (like if you cut your arm the blood drops to the ground) but to push the brain even further and further to the other side of the head and if treatment is not given very rapidly the person will die. I have had an 18 yr old patient who now lives in a nursing home and has horrendous bed sores all over his back side and is curled up in the fetal position. He cannot close his mouth (it is open all the time). He has been like this since he was 13 and was doing Meth.

I've never done it, but I've watched it ruin the lives of many people around me. There are absolutely no pros to it. It rots your body from the inside out. Some of the ingredients are extremely volitile. Some meth cooks make it in their toilets and bathtubs. I'm from an area that has a very high concentration of meth labs. All I've ever seen is the destruction it can cause.

I tired meth one time and I could have very easily got hooked on it. That was the only time in my life that I was glad that I didn't have alot of money. Meth is expensive!!!!!!!!! Then you have the fact that it destroys your body and makes you look like death warm over. Then after all that you could either kill yourself making it or getting the wrong stuff. Sorry but no pro's here!!!!!

Half sister addicted from the first time she used it. Most of her teeth have rotted out, she weighs about 90 pounds, she has a facial tic and a facial palsy from it as well. She is 37 and looks older than my mother, who died a few weeks ago at the age of 64! She lives for the stuff and has destroyed the lives of her children, who are either druggies like her or so violent they are constantly kicked out of school and sent to mental hospitals. There is NOTHING GOOD about meth. NOTHING!

All I know about Meth is the tragic tales I've witnessed in it's wake. My former foster son was so entranced by it's magic that he chose to set a new world's record by seeing how long he could last surviving on it alone, without food. Gotta give him credit. He lasted 10 days ... and was gone. Such incredible artisitc talent. I don't think he has a clue to how many people he left behind in grief. He's not the only one. I've not heard a single positive. Other than it makes you feel invincible ... until it's too late to realize you're not.

Don't listen to these people, there are nothing but positives to meth. You can stay up for days, sometimes weeks, at a time shaking and are not able to eat. You will loose weight, go from 186 down to 125 in just a few months.
It will make you look like walking death, make your face all drawn up and you are even able to count all your ribs. You might loose your teeth because they tend to rot out but you can get nice new false teeth at the age of 32 like me. Your hair tends to fall out prematurely. If you snort it you nose will start bleeding and the membranes will burst. If you inject it you take the risk of Aids and other diseases.
Sounds like fun doesn't it?

I was a normal kid back in High school. Veruy social friendly loving. I got involved with meth and it took my soul and promised me death. I lost everyone in my life and found my self playing with the devil everyday for 10 years. I lost my home, my job, my family didn't want me, I eneded up with a crazy boyfriend, I couldn't hold a job. I didn't recognize myself in the mirror. I was 60 ibs under weight and I looked yellow and sick. My hands were distroyed from all the projects that I used to do.
The list goes on.......and there is no "pro's" to it. I hate it and I hate what it did to me.

Have you seen the people they arrest for cooking meth? They are usually in a filthy, dangerous house or trailer, they are high themselves. Meth is made of nothing but caustic chemicals, and you are trusting some idiot to get the mix right. You wouldn't let one of these guys mow your lawn they are so dirty and creepy, but it's OK to put your life in their hands?
