im from the philippines and I would like to know if i can apply directly in the schools there in US?

most of my friends applied through VIF, but i would like to know if there are other ways of teaching in the US without spending hundreds of pesos. applying through agencies would cost a lot. do you know anything about this matter? please do help me. thanks.

I am thinking that an agency may be the best way to go, as I would expect that they do the paperwork involved, as well as making sure you are certified to teach in the U.S.

If you are willing to do all the necessary research and putting together the documentation yourself, then go for it ... but an Agency would know all the possible pitfalls and things that need to be done that you might miss on your own ....
