I like freezer jam best but my jelly is jalapeno on fried egg sandwiches. I like mint jelly on cold lamb. I like strawberry or raspberry on peanut butter. All jelly is strained and smooth. Jam has a little texture and sometimes seeds. Jelly is made from the juices and has no texture. So your blueberry should have no stuff in it. Jam is crushed fruit.

For flavour port wine if it's used in a trifle, otherwise raspberry.

Brand wise aeroplane or cottees - but not the quickset type

Great if has fresh fruit set in it like berries

If your talking about the jam type strained of fruit - can't go past quince or blackberry, or sauterne and honey.

As an enhancement to food - cranberry with smoked chicken or turkey and redcurrant as an ingredient to any sauce for game meat or pork

I like strawberry! It has the fruity flavor and a pretty color, while not having those stupid little seeds like in raspberry jelly!
