I am guessing that you want to know who he is and not how.
Al Capone is America's best known gangster and the single greatest symbol of the collapse of law and order in the United States during the 1920s Prohibition era. Capone had a leading role in the illegal activities that lent Chicago its reputation as a lawless city. (for more details, go to:
http://www.chicagohs.org/history/capone.html )
"Al Capone - Made in America" can be found at: http://www.crimelibrary.com/gangsters_outlaws/mob_bosses/capone/index_1.html - there is a nice mug shot of him in his fedora hat...this site has quite a bit of information beginning w/ his parents arrival from Italy in the late 1800s.
Here's the FBI take on Al Capone at: http://www.fbi.gov/libref/historic/famcases/capone/capone.htm

Who was he? OR how was he? He was an Italian American
Maffia member, in the the late 1920, in Chicago. .He was so good that all he ever got arrested for was tax evasion. He died at his house in Florida. He had a son, but little is known off line about him. GO to your local library and get some book about Al Capone. Also anything you can find about the St. Valentines Day Massacere. His gang was involved in it. it was
such a big occurence and it's a big part of history. The reason it wasn't avoidable is that most of the cops were impostors, and they were Capone's men. The reason he had a scar, (similar to the man in Scarface) was that someone cut him on one cheek.

Al Capone was one of many crime bosses in Chicago in the 1920's to take advantage of the illegal alcohol trade due to Prohibition. Capone evenually ecame the most notorious one of all due to his viciousness in the handling of his enemies as well as the corruption of the Chicago police department. Despite being away in the winter of 1929, he was undoubtedly in charge of the St, Valentine's Day massacre. He was eventually imprisoned not on implication for murder but for income tax evasion. He was also noted for jury tampering but was never proven. He ended up in San Quentinand eventually contacted syphilis . Al Capone died in 1947.

Do you mean... "Who was Al Capone?"
He was a drug running in the 1920s and 30's. The drug was alcohol and it was band through proabition. Although he always dressed like a businessman in a 3 piece suit, he was one of the first gang bangers... he would shoot and kill anyone who tried to sell his product in his turf (Chicago). Once at a meeting, he killed a gang member with a baseball bat in front of everyone (about 20) to drive home (no pun intended) the point that loyalty was important to him. He finally got convicted of "tax evasion" and died in prision of siphilus, a STD he got from a hooker.

You'll have to ask someone who's tried him. He'd probably be just fine with the right seasonings, and if fricaseed properly.
