why do we sometimes laugh and/or cry upon climax?

Hormones I think maybe...

Or perhaps an excess of emotions? Sometimes I cry after a really good... session with my husband... -smiles- I think its one or the other...

Films make many to think themselves as a part of the story. Or they might remember some incident identical to the climax. Or they might just feel good or bad upon the situation. Some good audience appreciate the weight of the dialogues, and how much the actors put life into the characters and then, incredibly, cry!!! :-)

when I realised that I was no longer in love with my boyfriend and our relationship had become a habit, I would cry afterwards, probably because deep i my heart I knew at this time that something was wrong.
I have never laughed though.

I might cry if i feel a really intense emotional bond, like you might cry at a wedding.
