Since many people took my other question out of context and answered with rude comments about sexual favors, I wanted to reword the question and try again. Hopefully someone normal will answere this time. Please don't respond just to be rude it's a waste of your time and mine.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can put together a demo with little money? If you can help, please let me know.

Something along the lines of programs I can buy and use with a computer and record at home is more along the line of what I meant.

I think that if you are prepared to spend a little time (rather than money), then you can do it with AUDACITY (free software!) and a half-decent condenser microphone and PC.
Check out my guide for using audacity for multi-track recording at home:
http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/DIY/index.php
step1: follow the links to 'multi-track recording'
step2: follow the links to the download page to get audacity.
This method is low-budget, but with a little experimentation could deliver decent results and have you knocking out your own CD's in no time....

you know I've been trying to figure out the same thing for a little while now and you can't record something for nothing. but I think if you invest $5000 and have access to a good space then you can buy what you need, learn to use it without taking too much time, and make some recordings. and you will be able to keep making recordings with it, or expand what you have to make more recordings.

Buy one of the new music laptop units they are coming out with these days, some good microphones and instruments, a good midi and keyboard setup with all the mixers and samplers and all that stuff that can ineterface with your little laptop, and if you are smart about what you do then you can make a pretty good recording that is certainly fit to be put online or on a download.

To start with buy some magazines that are geared towards music gear that you can find in a local music store, just to get an idea of what kind of stuff is out there. Find some websites and check out some demos and see what works and what your budget can get you.

Getting a good space to record in can be tricky depending on where you live and what you've got access to. but it's pretty important.

If you can pull all this together there is nothing stopping you from giving the world access to your music. I wish you luck!

What kind of music?
you could pretty much do everything yourself on a computer.
If you are just making beats and electronic music it is very cheap.
When you get into recording live audio you are looking at spending between 200 and 500 bucks for a cheap setup for hardware and software plus whatever mic you want to use.
you could find a cheap studio on craigslist, or you might find someone to do it fro free. A lot of people are building small studios in there home, with todays technology the recordings come out pretty good. I would try to get into doing it yourself. It will usually come out better if you take your time mixing it all the way you want it.

See if you can get a part time job at the recording studio. You might either get discounts or be able to swap hours for recording time. It also would help you get used to sound equipment which would be a bonus for any musician.

Either that or look for competitions where the prize is a recording time at a studio. Karoke contests often use this as a draw.
