Hmm, let's see. The ugliest in my opinion is the Anthony Dollar. Not only due to the poor design and depiction of Susan Anthony in her later years, but also because of its poor choice of metal and size which made it easily mistaken with the quarter. The most beautiful is a toss up between the Walking Liberty Half Dollar and the Mercury Dime.

The 1938v Series Sitting Liberty Dollar has the most intricate carvings so I vote it the best, the ugliest had to be the1940's Buffalo Nickle.

i think the penny is the ugliest...and the dime the prettiest.
