Have no clue what they are or how you do them in MLA format. Our English teacher printed a example of how to do one when your citing a book.

Author's Last Name.Page #

But how do you cite internet pages?Especially ones with no author?

Do I put like a (1) after a specific qoute I used than have that referenced to the "1" on my work cited page?

You could use (1) as long as you do that consistently with all of your references. Or you could name the organization that created the website, with the page number referring to the page number when the webpage is printed out. For instance, you would write something like (Garcia 254) when referencing a book, while you could write (US Department of Energy 2). If you own a writing style guide, it should give examples of how to cite sources that don't have authors. Otherwise, you should check with your teacher to make sure, because it has been a few years since I have written a paper and I am a bit rusty :)
