The government helps every one that needs help,it doesn't matter what color the person is,you just have to meet the requirements,I have several friends that are white and they receive help from the government.Everyone that asks for help gets it,you just have to meet the criteria, and some states are more liberal with the help than others.

I hate to break it to you but I'm Black and still a "true blue American." While my family has only been citizens of our country for about six generations, we have been here almost since the beginning. No matter what the TV seems to tell you, I do not get special handouts because of my race, even in hard times. BTW: thinking like yours is what racists use to justify backlash against other citizens who have done them no personal harm.

First of all i want to know who you consider a true blue american. Is it a white person? Or is it just a legal ameican citizen? Second of all I think its interesting that you want to make "true blue americans" out to be the victim. americans have all kinds of breaks and help from the government. maybe you should do some research before asking a question like this.

Yes...well you have to realize there are a lot of motivating factors involved, and we, the citizens have to make our voices so loud they have to listen....especially when election time is coming around.
Here are some examples.....some of this is our own fault....we have been killing our next generation for years so our population has been waining....and there is a Global group who think we, the US. should give up all we have for the benefit of everyone else....what they don't consider is we are supporting the rest of the world...and by giving away our benefits...we will be unable to do that anymore.
There are a lot of just plain uneducated people who have thrown out a lot we were doing well....like taking in immigrants gradually and making them have to become a total American citizen...learn the language, get a job, etc.....and become totally integrated.
Now, instead we are supporting illegals at the cost of our own citizens. A good person to listen to on this is Newt Gingrich, who is going to run for President...his solutions are just great.....send them home....make them reapply legally....keep track of each one thoroughly who comes in....etc.....
They have just discovered that three of the men they just arrested for plotting to kill soldiers on the Fort Dix Base, had over 75 police arrested violations including drugs, etc...and no one kept them in jail. It is a national disgrace, and proves our security is very at risk.
So speak up...write...etc...especially to those wanting to run for office.......we all have to do that together...its not a racial thing....many legal Mexican immigrants agree with us.
And right now...they are trying to sneak bills thru before we can stop them. Will be interesting to see what happens.

I'm white.
I, my parents and their parents have all been national born citizens of the US.
I'm receiving help from the government right now.
I have chosen to be a stay at home dad while I finish college and my girl waits tables.
we recieve 350$ a month in food stamps, we have medicade and the US governemt is paying my college and books about 30% of my rent.
I went and got it because I was anger that "minorities" could get it and not me. I went and applied and proved myself wrong. Its there, you just need to go get it.
Oh, of course if you have a well paying job, you can't get it. you need to make changes on how much money your spend and how and on what you spend it if your having financial problems

Today's minority is the middle-class, educated, white male with a family, a home, a job, and a savings account.
I understand your frustration, but can you understand that it's how the world is evening out the playing field so that one day everyone will be truely equal?

A look at history will show that most minorities, and a fair amount of foreigners, have been persecuted and oppressed by the same U.S. government and the citizenry for centuries.
Seeing relief efforts for tornadoes, hurricanes, and fires, I'd also add that there seems to be little racial discrimination among the victims. Just my $ .02

That's true. Hard 'working' Americans get no help, even when they need it. Health care is so high, that we can't afford the copay/s for my kids dental 'needs'. My wife and I can't afford even a check up, if either of us gets sick, we'll run the risk of eviction.

who would want the govt to give them a break any way? besides a low life?
