If I switch practices (from one private practice to another) during pregnancy, which doctor gets paid for the services?? Would I be shortchanging one of them?
The doctor who I prefer is a much longer drive for me, and if i start going to him when I am pregnant and then decide I can't handle the drive I will have to switch to someone local. I don't want either doctor to get shortchanged! Please advise.

It would depend on how far you are in the pregnancy and other circumstances. If you were further in to the pregnancy like say around 30 weeks the new dr may not take you on because you are already established with the first dr.
