It's actually Allah that sets the time and he uses a detonation timer for a bomb.

God set the day from the night, man came up with seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years all on their own. That's why some months have 30 days, while others have 31 and poor old Feb. got only 28, except for leap year, when it gets 29 and why we are always setting the time up and back. Think God came up with THAT mess?

I don't believe in God, but under that mythology, with the premise that God exists, he didn't invent time -- he would have created the cycle of days and years, but as for clocks and calendars, those were human inventions, most definitely.

Actually on the other side of the veil (the veil between heaven and earth) there is no such thing as time. I know it's weird to understand, but that's just the way it is. (or so I've heard, but it makes sense)
