The swelling should go down by then, or at least be very minimal. The bruise will be fading, but not completely gone. Makeup should cover it up. The split lip will most likely still be there, but once again makeup should fix it. To help the swelling, take an anti-inflammatory medicine like Tylenol, IB profin, Advil, and so on. Don't take more than recommended to "enhance" the effect as doing so could be dangerous. For an extra boost ice the swollen area. I hope I've helped.

From experience of getting many fat lips (I am EXTREMELY clumsy), your swelling should be gone by then. The bruise should be easy to cover up with makeup, but I'm not so sure about the "split" part--depends on location of split and how deep it is. If you want swelling to go down faster, be sure to ice your lip. Put ice in a ziplock-type baggie, wrap a thin towel around it and hold on your lip for 10 minutes. Take it off for 20 minutes, and keep doing that. Good luck!

It is important to ice when it first happens. Ice can be helpful in minimizing swelling for up to 48 hours. Most times it is not necessary to ice for longer than 24 hours. It is very difficult to make swelling go away quickly. Swelling will gradually go down. What you can do to help it go down is to apply some warm towels tomorrow (after 48 hours from the injury). The face is fairly vascular so it may go down faster than say a knee or ankle.
Unfortunately there is a very limited number of things to do to help with swelling in the face.

Wtf your dad punched you on your face? i'm hoping it became into an accident...if no longer that's new child abuse and you'd be able to desire to get it looked after out and tell somebody, that's unlawful for a be certain to hit their new child... besides positioned some ice in a towel, wrap it up and positioned it on your face for 10 minutes, try this each and every 4 hours (do no longer do it for longer than 10 minutes or it could make it worse) 10 minutes will shrink the swelling nicely; in spite of the reality that that's going to in all probability be bruised the following day if it became right into a perfect punch.
