ghostshrimp work really well. You can buy about a dozen for a couple bucks. I usually always try and have at least ten in my 30 gallon tank. They eat poo, they are fun to watch, and your fish can eat them if they are hungry. Overall an important assest

Nothing (not even goldfish) actually eats the fish poo, some creatures like snails and some catfish will sort through it to find undigested pieces of food though. So it might look like it, but it doesn't happen.

Actually, no types of fish eat poop. The closest to eating poo is catfish, they scavenge the bottom for leftover food.

No fish eat poo. they might bite it then right after spit it back out.

No fish eats waste. They put it in their mouth and spit it right back out again.
Closest thing I can think of would be snails. They eat detritus and rotting food...everything, I think.
