Yes, I served twice. Once I was the jury foreman. I found it to be pretty interesting even though we had to let a person who we taught could have been guilty free because there was some reasonably doubt.
If the defense lawyer is a very good one, he will be able to turn thing around so that you are not even sure your name is correct.

No, I have not. I have served jury duty, but I have never been selected to serve on a jury.

Yes...
boring case....food stamp fraud.
We sat and listened to a woman basically say for hours that she didnt know she had to report her income.
10 minutes of prosecution witness going over the food stamp application that says in bold letters like 4 times "You must report any income to DHS"
Jury chatted for about 10 minutes...8 minutes griping of why this lady didnt take a plea bargin and stop wasting tax payer money.
2 minutes to convict...Guilty.
I am on Jury Duty again...start next week.

I reported for jury duty but the trial was going to take longer than I had the time for so I was excused.

I WISH... but no, I haven't. I'd LOVE TO serve on a jury, though. I'm absolutely fascinated by the whole idea.
