That's another reason why Americans don't like soccer. Kaka is one of thee Best players in the world, but needing a break - c'mon. For the cash hes getting he should play all day everyday. If there is one thing i can not stand is players like Ronaldo, C. Blanco, and now Kaka saying the need breaks. There are Millions of kids who would die to get the opportunity these guys are getting.
Man up - u pansies and play - especially for your country. if i was making 1/100000 of the cash they were making - i would play with a broken leg, a stab wound, and on crutches.
My final words - if your tired fine - then only play one half or one full game.

I don't know he said that, but it's not unusual for football superpowers like Brazil and Argentina to send their 'team B' to Copa America. Actually the gap between the superpowers like Brazil and Argentina, and other countries in Latin America are quite big. You can see that 2 of them can win the championship for many times though they send team B. Thus, for them Copa America is a good moment to prepare the subs and search young stars.
It is a bit surprising to know Kaka said that, but he might have a good reason (if it's true). It's also surprising to know he got Italy citizenship, but I don't think he will play for Italy, 'coz he has played for Brazil, thus he cannot move anywhere. His case is different from Deco (Brazilian-born Portuguese) or Mauro Camoranesi (Argentinian-born Italian). And I'm sure he still want to win a World Cup.

With the grueling Italian Serie A and Spanish Primera Leagua season over both Kaka and Ronaldinho had requested CBF and Dunga to exempt them from participating in the Copa.

In the past happened a player played for two different Nations, but now's not possible anymore: even if he's an Italian citizen, now, he palyed yet for Brazil and so will do in the future.
Camoranesi the same: he had to decide if playing for Argentina or for Italy; he had the chanace to choose, but now he can only play for Italy, not anymore for Argentina.

He's tired, he needs to rest, three years of never stop, Ronaldinho is not coming too, and that's good because the barcelona needs him totally. And well, I hope Mexico will beat Brazil.
