Not necessarily, but there is a real phenomena called the wisdom of crowds. That is, if you ask a 100 people a question and average the answers, the result is usually closer to the right answer than even expert opinion. It is a good idea to double check your sources and reasoning when you disagree with the majority. I obviously think that sometimes the majority is wrong, because I am going against the majority opinion here with this answer.

The majority agreeing on something doesn't make it right nor wrong. Its just the majority agreeing.

(The majority supported Slavery at one time...did that make it right?)

Not at all. You could be dealing with a lot of ignorant people, like explaining to a KKK group why racism is wrong.

If it is an opinion, there is no such thing as wrong.

If it is a fact, then it depends on if you correct or not, not on what other people think.
