Because you swapped your old HDD (with winXP installed) with new HDD (without any OS installed), your PC is unable to find any OS to boot from.

You will have to reinstall a fresh copy of winXP on your 6 GB HDD before you can use them. Since you do not have OS in any of your HDD, your system is trying to find the OS to install from your CD-Rom. If you didnt insert any CD, the error message will appear.

Ted, I think it's time for a new pc. Sounds like too many issues to be worth fixing. They are so cheap now, and so much better than a P2, I think you would be better off with a new pc.
