Then I looked at Melinda's erxpression and I think it was frightened
Was blurting out the results intentional???

I think the going home was in reference to her home time visit and not the actual results.You are right Melinda did look shocked when Ryan said it.I think it was just a poor choice of words.

I heard it also, but when Melinda went to her home town then i thought that's what he was talking about. But when he voted her off, i was like OH MY GOD, that's what he met earlier. I think it slipped out of his mouth

He was saying she is going home as in her video of going home to her hometown was coming up next. I thought the same thing at first until my husband clarified!

I know what you are saying - it showed her and she was in shock - I thought the same thing, but, I think he was just setting it up for them to show her actually going home from the past weekend.. but, you know, I see where you got that and I am sure others were thinking what you thought...
