She was the best singer on the show no doubt blake was HOTT and Jordan was sweet and nice but malinda's voice. I think the only reason she got voted off was because SImon liked her>> I was SHOCKED though ANy one elese??

I was really shocked. She was the best singer all season. I don't think i'll be watching AI again. This was staged. I'm sure they told her ahead of time and said lose tonight that way she can get her own record deal and not get stuck signing with American Idol. She's just too good.

I voted for Melinda three times and Blake twice.
I am angry and cannot believe America cannot see someone who has a talent like Melinda. I am not going to watch the final next week because I do not care who wins now. Melinda was the best from day one. Tonight is the last time I will ever watch American Idol again. This season has not been a far season. Some of the best singers were voted off in the beginning. If I had to choose I would hope Blake would win, but it will be Jordin.

It was the outcome I wanted.
No one disputes that Melinda has an AMAZING voice! But she has been singing professionally for years and simply lacked the confidence to step into the spotlight. In an early episode, she mentioned her voice coach and stylist -- she didn't really belong on the show to begin with. The show is about finding raw talent -- hers is already refined.
I believe that Jordin's voice will actually be BETTER than Melinda's by the time she's that age (12 years from now). The girl has natural charisma and stage presence. I only hope that they won't pressure her to lose weight.
Blake's pitch and tone are good and he'll improve his delivery -- he's such a unique talent! I'm not too crazy about the hair color they gave him, and hope he will be allowed to really express his true creativity and style.

thats sad melinda was voted off. she was way to good for american idol anyways. for american idol ,people want younger singers, that grow has a singer. she will be the most famous one out of the show because of her voice, and she is already perfect and needs no training. but im hoping that blake wins now, i just think jordin is WAY TOO YOUNG. and shes been a little cocky lately.

No she was voted off because she does not have the "f" factor. She looks like a troll and she mentioned Jesus and her faith a few too many times. No record exec wants to deal with that. Hollywood is a place were everybody is "f'ing" everybody else. Does Melinda look like she'd be hooked on drugs like Whitney or do you think Tommy Matola (Mariah Carey's ex husband) wants to have sex with Melinda? No! Melinda sorry to say looks like a reptile. She's funny looking. Byonce is not a great singer but she has that "f" factor. Everybody wants to do her. Sorry kids! Melinda was the best singer. Not an opinion a fact. Sorry. Dodge makes cars. Color me shocked and disappointed. Even though I voted for Blake, I think Melinda was the best overall. She should have won. This finale is going to be a joke now.

The hate committee was in full effect. It was one thing to keep the Sanjaya thing going but this is beyond ridiculous. I will not be watching this show or supporting it in the future. I will buy Melinda's next album.
