I know this sounds really odd. But you can paint on another layer of polish and wipe it off while it is still wet. This removes both layers of polish. However it doesn't work well if you had on a dark polish such as red.

turpentine! and strange as it sounds the layer of polish over polish method does actually work.

mosquito repellent in a can like "off" will melt it right off

scratch it with needle...but its really gonna ruin your nail structure.

paint thinner....acetone from work (work in printing shop).
