I prefer compatibility for long term relationships. If you enjoy doing a lot of the same things, you will enjoy each others company. If you have totally opposite interests, you will find yourself doing things with other people all the time. It's nice to have a few separate interests so you don't get tired of each other, but having your boyfriend as a best friend and activities partner, to me, is the best.

I've found the opposites attract thing to work a little better..... it adds spice to life and creates just a little tension which is sometimes healthy......my husband and I are total opposites....he is quiet, shy, and an information addict.....I am talkative, out going, and impulsive..... somewhere in the last 12 years through up and downs we've found common ground that works for us.....Our differences do not interfere with the similarities (which arn't many).... but it works for us.... My first husband and I were alot alike....obviously that didn't work.....marriage ended after 5 years.......

False.. It would depend on the similarities. Two people who are both moody or both addicts of some kind - that would be self-destructive.

True. You have to be carfel of what you complain about with your spouse or mate because oftimes we subconsciously date people who are a lot like ourselves.

true.....very compatable....just....very likely will have a safe, uncomplicated, low key in excitement level in sex life....probably wiser to choose the one whom will be around forever.... rather then choosing someone that will be a life full of surprises and regrets as well as cherished memories.....
Which one to choose? safe...or?

It might be true. Me and my husband are oppsites. When I'm cold he's hot, when he's happy and i'm sad. when I want to kill him, he wants to cuddle. but we get along and I wouldn't trade it for the world. being with some one that is like you is nice, but I think it would be boring.
