But it feels like Love?

1st off I make sure they understand that it isn't love and if they know me they understand, given my background. Then I tell them I care for them deeply, and that they are very important to me as a friend. Does it work? Yes, I have such a friendship going on three years with a lovely lady friend and that is all it ever will be. She knew this from the beginning and has excepted that. She has her life and I have mine and occasionally our paths cross.

Tell them that they hold a special place in your heart and the world would not be the same if they weren't in it. Start there and your feelings will go the rest of the way.

well heres a few things to say:
-you have a special place in my heart
-i really like you
-i admire you
-i cant see my life without you
-theres noone else id rather be with right now
-you are always on my mind or i think about you often
-you are important to me
-i love being with you or i enjoy your company
you could also give them a soft peck, a long hug or a friendly hug.

or you could say ' I think I've fallen for you '
and you could add on how incredibly....

*smart
*funny they are..or whatever makes you like them that much that it feels like love.
