If you need to "stay focused" on eating healthy and exercising, you may "go astray" more than you expected. If/ when you can reach your weight goal by NOT thinking about losing weight, then you may be able to keep the weight off easier. If you do exercises geared towards a hobby you enjoy, (mountain biking etc....) you will get in shape and lose weight while having fun and not focus as much on getting in shape or losing the weight. While drinking lots of water can be healthy, be careful NOT to drink lots of tap water that contains enough chlorine to eat through a polybutaline water line after 15 years. Counting the days you have been dieting may not be mentally healthy. And if you are purposely "dieting", than thats another indication you may need to change your strategy.

People who plan their weekly meals will be more successful at losing weight than those who don’t. Plan your dishes to add in healthy carbs such as sweet potato and wholegrain pasta, vegetables and lean proteins, buy all the ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted to consume out or order in.

Suck the idea in. Consciously hold in and contract your abdominals while you’re walking, sitting at the desk or making the an evening meal. This will help to strengthen your abdominal muscles and your core, and enable you to get one step closer to a new flatter stomach.

Eat muesli two hours before hitting the gym to boost fat burning when you train. Slow to digest, muesli takes longer for getting through your system, so is less apt to be turned into fat and still will give you a good energy boost.

Beans, beans, are best for your heart, the more you eat the more you... lose excess weight actually. Super-effective and full of fibre, beans will regulate your appetite and slow the rate at which the stomach empties, meaning you be fuller for longer.
