I never take my wedding ring or engagement ring off unless Im using a weird chemical like bleach or amonia and they're both 14K White Gold 1 Carat t.w.
It'll be fine though I wore my class ring for the longest and it was also white gold ;)
Good Luck

I retired from a jewelry company in upper management. You should not wash dishes, take baths, or swim in your fine jewelry, or do household chores. Chlorine is the same thing that is in bleach and is very hard on gold as it is a precious metal and will cause discoloration and actual deterioration to the metal. When looked at under a loop there are visable pits and cracks to the gold when this is done. This will cause loss of the stones over time. Also there are mineral deposits that adhere to the stones and cause them to dull and lose their luster over time when exposed to cleansers, soaps and water. To those who think it doesn't damage the jewelry and it is fine, jewelers do nothing but send repairs to the repair shop to repair jewelry that was not taken care of by owners who think that doing things like this is okay. Then they wonder why their jewelry turned into a piece of junk.

I once had a 10K gold opal ring and the shower did ruin my ring because I never took it off. The gold band looked dull and the stone came loose and I lost it. I didn t even have it for very long, I know it was less than a year of showering with it and it eventually ruined my ring. Since then, with any fine jewelry, eventhough; its a hassle I take off my jewelry before I get into the shower.

No its not ok to wear a ring while taking shower because as you wear the ring while taking shower everyday slowly its polish would get dull and there are chances of falling the diamond.

If its real your fine! My mom wears a lot of real 14k gold every day every where even in the shower and her stuff is in great condition!! I wear my gold and silver in the shower and haven't had a problem yet. Just make sure you rinse it so you don't get soap build up it will make it look dull, same with lotion, wipe your ring off or take it off when you put lotion on it cuz it will make your stone and ring look dull!!!

If it is real gold, water should not ruin it, just clean it and leave it shinning.. Sliver can fog and tarnish.. Jewelry with gems, you need to be careful, the steam and water can loosen them from their hold.
I personally do not show anymore with my jewelery on.. I had a beautiful pair of pearl stud earrings get lost in the shower. I don't know exactly what happened.. I had them going into the shower and then I didn't have them when I came out.. I can only guess the pressure of the water loosen them and they just flowed down the drain.
It is always good to be careful with jewelry and remove them when showering or swimming..
Good Luck

Yeah. You might forget to put it back on, though.

weel, the ring souds like ti's good quality, so it should be ok. As long as the jewelry is made out of silver or gold, it should be fine.
