Seriously. He's supposed to be the commander in chief - the decider. He ran for re-election based on his claim to be the best person to lead us in war.

Is there something more important that he has to do rather than devoting his full attention to what he has termed the biggest struggle facing our nation?

Cheney is the "war czar" but he offends too many people. So Lute will be the War Czar in name only, in reality he is just a PR guy.

Totally.
Finally, he hires someone to do the job he knows nothing
about - obviously, the way Iraq is going.
So then, we the taxpayers, get to pay the salary, medical
benefits & pension for life for this new government position.
Unfortunately for him, he'll probably end up taking the
blame for all of Bush's blunders.

yup, hes supposed to be commander in chief but instead he couldnt handle that job so he picked someone for a posistion that is supposed to an elected posistion.

He might be the one giving out the orders, but you know he is no longer the one making the decisions. Its sick how the majority of americans were stupid enough to re-elect this fool.

he looks like a monkey too

i never understood how a deserter like bush was ever elected to be commander in chief...no experience at war and yet he calls himself a wartime president...i wouldn't want a med school drop out to perform surgery on me why should America let a man who has no war record take us into a worthless war
