I'm talking average GPA acceptance (weighted and unweighted), average SAT scores, average ACT scores...

acutally I would appreciate this information for any UCs, but especially Berkeley, Davis, and LA.

Thanks.

Cal's getting harder and harder to get into every year.

A decade ago, I got in with a 1350 (old) SAT, 31 ACT and 4.3 GPA. I'm pretty sure comparable marks will still get you in.

Of all the people I knew at Cal, the person with the lowest entering GPA was my roommate. She had a 3.75. But she was a local from a public school in Oakland. The rest of us were AP junkies and had GPAs over 4.0.

As for SAT scores, aim for 650+ in each section. And a composite ACT score of 30+ is definitely good.

UCLA is comparable in terms of selectivity. The Bruins are just trying to be like their Big Brother Bears. (I mean that in the nicest way, UCLA grads)

and Davis is good and all, but their bar is set a little bit lower than Cal and UCLA. Aim for 620+ on each section of the SAT and 29+ on the ACT. A lot of straight A students go there, but the occasional B is still fair game.

Back to Cal, though. I was a scholarship reviewer this year. The caliber of students applying to Cal is top notch to say the least. I hope you have a lot of extra-curriculars to make you look good for the admissions committees. I read scholarship applications from students who coached kids in sports, organized large charity fundraisers, were active in their churches, competed in sports and academic teams. The whole gamut was represented. If you choose Cal, your peers will be the best and the brightest.

Good luck to you on your applications in the future.

The UC Fall 2007 admission profiles are here: http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/educators/counselors/resources/materials/ITU.pdf starting on page 37. The profiles provide the breakdown of GPA range, ACT Composite range, score range for each of the three SAT sections, A-G course completion rate, and honors course completion rate for each of the 9 campuses.

i'm particularly particular which you will take the year of seen/appearing arts on your senior year. in the UC application, there's a factor the place you write in all of the instructions you have taken, and the instructions you're at the instant taking over your senior year.
