The easiest way is a jump drive if both machines have usb support. You can get them up to 8 gb now. External usb hard disk drive is another option, as well as a dvd recordable drive (internal or external).

Most everyone has given you the easiest options...
A direct connection would be the most simple option as well as cost effective- however, if you are not great with computers this might be hard to do
If you have an IPod or other MP3 or USB memory stick- you can plug it in- open it under my computer and then open in another window the folder that contains the files that you want and cut and paste or copy and paste- depending on what you are trying to do OR simply select and drag and drop
If you are wanting to back the data up or permanently move it to another computer an external harddrive would be ideal- then you only need to cut/copy and paste the data onto the external hard drive and then plug it into the new computer- you dont have to copy it back onto the computer you can keep the hard drive plugged in and access the data as you would any other file or folder on your computer- this is what I do with all of my movies, music, and photos (of course after my hard drive in my computer crashed!)
Hopefully you will find one of these that works...
if you want to dot he hard-drive- if you go to the folder where the folder that contains the information you want to transfer is and single click on the folder and then right click to properties- it will tell you have many kb,mb, gb or data you have so that you know what minimum size you need

You could find an online file hosting website, simply by searching for one on Yahoo! or Google. There are websites that allow you to upload files and then reaccess them and download them to any computer. You can also try to send them over a network if you have your computers networked together. If not, you can simply run the network setup wizard on each computer, making sure they have the same name for the network. The default network would be MSHome.
You could also buy a flash drive, they come in different sizes with the ones with less storage the least and the ones with the most storage generally the most amount of money, and load them onto the flash drive and transfer them that way.
Good luck and I hope I succeeded in answering your question.

are the both computers in the same area? you can simply make a direct connection of both computers... then share the folder from the source computer so that the other computer can copy it directly...
