Have you ever noticed anyone of your own persuasion act really, really partisan and stubborn and mean? I know I've met some nasty liberals, almost as bad as some conservatives I've met. Twas pretty bad.

Absolutely. There are tons of partisans from all stripes right here on Yahoo Answers, but I have also known many in real life. The sad part about ultra partisanship is that it impairs your ability to reason correctly. I am a conservative independent, but I believe in weighing all arguments before forming any opinion.

Partisanship? On Y!A? Surely you jest! Why everyone here is a model of nonpartisanship.
Of course there are jerks on all sides ov every issue & here there are undoubtedly people with multiple identities doing "false flag" attacks to make the other side look bad. I've met liberals who make the most strident conservatives look like models of decency.

yep, it's getting ridiculous. We might as well drop the Democrats and Republicans and just become the Hatfields and the McCoys.

Most people who care for and are involved in politics tend to be that way. We're tough folks to mess with.
