First of all - when you remove your socks, tuck one inside of the other one and then pitch them into a centrally located container (if you're not going to put them in the dirty clothes right away). Decide where you spend most of your time and place the container there or if you spend your time equally in all areas of your space, place small containers all around. When laundry day arrives, just go around and empty the sock containers into your laundry basket and wash.

The only way to keep track of things is to set up a place where you ALWAYS put them. You have to firmly establish the habit. I used to lose my keys, sometimes twice a day. How irritating! Now I always throw em in a basket by the door so they are always there. Socks--maybe just put a box in a bedroom or a bathroom and ALWAYS throw em in there. "A place for everything and everything in its place"--its true, it works.

Ypu should put them in a laundry basket! And then after they are clean you should put it somewhere where you will always look and remeber. I have a tendency to lose things but just keep it where you will always look.

put them in the laundry when you take them off.
my sister takes her socks everywhere around the house. but when my mom nags her to put her socks away, she'll find them, somehow.
