Sometimes I have awaken in the middle of the night because I have a feeling someone is staring at me. When I look up I see a face looking down at me. I know it sounds crazy but it seems like a faint person hovering over me. Sometimes I become so scared that I throw the blanket back over my head. When I look again, its gone. I really think its some kind of ghost and whats even more bizzare is that they seem surprised that I actually see them. Does anyone know or ever heard of this?

P.S. I'm not on drugs!!!!!!!!

That'd be a big no.

My guess is that you weren't really awake. Happens more often than you'd think.

There is a sleep pattern in where you are asleep but you are not. It's an in-between stage. This is typically where you get the it feels like someones watching me, or vision of space aliens and ghosts. Not everybody has this. But it is documented. Being scared in normal in the stage it's close to night frights that children sometimes get. It is not demons!or ghost. and it is normal for some people.

I never experienced that....but some other people claimed to wake up in the middle of the night, with a space alien over them.

Probably demons or fallen angels who left heaven in Genesis 6 chapter it tells how they came to earth to marry women.
Revelation 12;7 says a war broke out in heaven and these bad angels were kicked out of heaven and the roam the earth and scare people.

No...and unless I'd immediately recognize them and later appreciate the event, I hope it never happens.
