You can ask whoever you got the computer from to send you a replacement disk. If you got it from Dell or Gateway or someone try calling them they may send you another for like $15 or something, it's a long shot, but worth a try. Otherwise you will need to purchase another copy to repair your system.

Also, you can try and start up the computer and right away start tapping the F8 key to bring up the Advanced Options menu. Choose Safe Mode and see if your computer starts. If it does uninstall anything you may have just installed.

I would just try and find someone that has a Windows 2000 disk and reinstall your OS. Use the Key that is on a sticker on the side of your computer.
There is no legit site to download a copy.

Go to a computer Repair Store in you local area, then ask them for a copy of windows 2000. I think you should pay for it about $20. I bought windows XP Pro for $25, and Vindows Vista Ultimate for $25, too.

No. once you first initially put in domicile windows 2000, you ought to have been asked to establish an administrator's account and password. in case you probably did not upload a password what you're able to do is log into the computer as Administrator without password. attempt that, if it particularly works, then bypass into administration panel> customers> and alter the password on your account.

I think your best bet is to ask a friend if you can borrow their XP disc and use it to upgrade your computer rather than install 2000.
The OEM numbers are good for at least three installs on three different computers, but I didnt tell you that!!
