It sounds like you are studying evidence supporting evolution. Slow down and think about each part ... it doesn't have to be too hard.

1. Embryology shows evolutionary relationships because the embryos of different species look like each other as they develop. This shows that the species must have common origins or common ancestors. Look at this picture:

2. Homologous structures give evidence for evolution because the structures show a similar origin (must have come from the same place) but they have been modified to be different now with different uses. The most common example of homologous structures: the front legs (or wings or arms) of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians have the same main bones, but the front legs have been modified for particular uses. See a picture here: http://www.mun.ca/biology/scarr/Homology_of_forelimbs.htm

3. Genetic relationships show relationships among species. The more similar the DNA is, the more closely related the species are. For example: people and chimpanzees have almost all of their DNA in common, while people only match about 60% of a chicken's DNA.

4. Analogous structures give evidence of evolution because different species have evolved similar structures when they have similar environmental needs. For example: whale flippers are similar in appearance and function with the fins of a fish. But these structures didn't come from the same evolutionary origin. That's just the shape that works for life in the water.

5. One example of geographic isolation is when part of a population is relocated to an island which is apart from the rest of the population. The isolated population can accumulate differences.

6. One example of reproductive isolation is when some birds sing a different mating song than the rest of the population sings. They will not interbreed, so they will not share any differences that arise.

Guys and gals do not think alike. Without knowing any details I can only guess here but... The relationship is not what you feel is degraded but you as a person. Your personal value was attached to your ability to remain in a relationship with this guy. So you feel like you were rejected personally and that there is something wrong with you or you have no value otherwise this guy would have waited until you were over the relationship to begin a new one or simply stayed in a relationship with you. This guy probably did not associate the relationship with your value as a person or his but associated a value with the relationship alone. Which once ended, the relationship had no value in of itself. Not that you had no value, but the relationship had no value. You on the other hand attached your personal value to the value of the relationship which is why you cannot let it go. Right now you feel that if you let it go then you have no value. That is not true though, it is the relationship alone that has no value, but you have value. Your personal value should only be attached to you. When you do that then you will 'get over it.' That also will serve to give you better relationships in the future. Separate your value from the relationship's value. They are two different things. Do I make sense? Oh and... hehe lest I forget... He's a fool and doesn't see a diamond that is evident before others. You'll find someone more your equal in due time.

geographic isolation is when species are isolated by bodies of water and land features like mountains. geographic isolation leads to reproductive isolation, which is when members of a species cannot interbreed because they forgot the mating rituals, or because their gametes can't combine. There is also adaptive radiation, which is when members of a spieces migrate and adapt to their new environments, and their phenotypes are different than those of the members of the species on the mainland.

Analagous structures: structures similar among species but evolved in dependently because of similar enviornment.
Homologous structures: species have similar structures because they share the same ancestor not because of similar enviornments. Thats all I can help u with.
