He will ge 3,000 hits in June most likely, do you feel this locks him as a HOF member or do you feel he would get in regardless due to his other accomplishments in his 20 year career?

He will get in on his first ballot. If not he will be the 1st 3,000 hitman not to do so and I don't see that happening.

Biggio finished up his Hall credentials four or five years ago. Slapping his 3000th hit will simply be icing the cake.
First ballot? I don't see why not, but that'll be in 2013 at the earliest. First three ballots, fer sher.

3,000 hits is a lock for the hall of fame. He'll be in. Whether he's a 1st ballot guy, I don't know.

3,000 hits should lock up a first ballot entry for Craig.... He's 7th on the all-time doubles list (649), 16th on the all-time career runs list (1799)... All-Star Catcher and Second baseman...Gold Glove winner... He's got the credentials (longevity of it all or not) that should put him on on first ballot.

Michael is stable as commonplace. First pollmen, with out question, i can't see any argument against. anybody who easily thinks Biggio or Maddux are not first pollmay desire to be banned from the section.

He will definitely make the hall of fame, but doing it on the first ballot is questionable.

He is consistent, but I don't think he has been one of the greats of the game, 3,000 hit or not. I say no, but he will get in. I don't think Ryne Sandberg was HOF material either, but he's in Cooperstown.

He absolutely belongs in the Hall!!! With the weird voting that happens up there I suppose it depends on who else is on the ballot regarding whether he gets in first ballot.

hes definitely in the HOF, he'll probably get 3000 by late july early august
