I take my shoes off as soon as I enter the house. I hate shoes, so I spend as much time as possible in my socks. Certainly, socks only when my feet are on the couch.

Yes I recently got a new sofa and chair so all shoes must come off before putting feet on the sofa or the chair.

That is one of my greatest pet peeves. I never put my feet on the couch wearing shoes. I hate it when others do too...its really nasty leaving all of your germs all over someone elses or even your own couch.

90% of the time I do remove shoes, but honestly sometimes, I am so tired, and my shoes are not dirty, so I put them on the couch if my wife or friends are not at home.

I take mine off soon as I enter the front door. I don't need to but for some reason I hate wearing shoes on carpet. I like walking in socks. even outside, when I can. My feet feel free but they aren't getting dirty.

Nope! It's my couch and I don't care if it wears out! That would be like worrying so much you cover them in plastic! When it gets too old I just wait for collection day and drive around the rich-pig area and pick up a near-new one!

Our shoes come off in the entryway and the moccasins go on. On the couch they come off.

Nope. It's my couch. I bought and paid for it. Now, if it was my kid, he/she had BETTER take their shoes off first. This is not a democracy after all. I am QUEEN of this house!
