Why do people still get on Kobe to this day about cheating on his wife?

Here are some other known adulterers in sports and nobody is hating them...
Micheal Jordan...big time
Magic Johnson....got HIV while married
Allen Iverson...threw his girlfriend out the window
..forget about allready. Most athletes cheat on their wives.

Like you, I can't understand why people get so caught up on that. I mean if she forgave him, why can't everyone else? Like you said there has been plenty of athletes that has cheated on their wives, some have been caught and some havent. I mean if your going to hate Kobe you might as well hate about 85% of the married players in the NBA.

Alot of men cheat on their wives PERIOD.

Especially in the US of A. Women are attracted to "Charasmatic Sociopaths" that they conveinently call "Bad Boys". Then, those same women wonder why those kind of guys cheat or punch their lights out. They married NUT JOBS!

Kobe didn't rape anyone. What rich, handsome, bilingual(speaks Italian/English), intelligent man in the prime of his life has to rape anyone?

If I was rich and could speak Italian and were so inclined I bet you I COULD PULL MAAD women. I can now but I am not interested in catch V.D. (STD) or some flesh eating bacteria or a staph infection so I just kick back. I wouldn't have to kick it with some busted, little freaky maid either. If I was in the NBA I would have a professional (executive) girlfriend in every city. IF I FELT LIKE IT. I was doing that in college so WHY wouldn't I be able to do the same thing in the NBA?

These guys are just young, dumb and full of bubble gum. That is why they get caught in ghetto mess like they do. Shooting guns outside of strip clubs (Stephen Jackson). How UNCOUTH! It just isn't civilized I tell you.

The notion that Kobe would rape a hotel employee in his own hotel room is borderline stereotyping (of one sort or another) but I won't go down that road.

Many people just do not like Kobe. The people that don't like him, hate him for the reasons I suggested he doesn't have to rape any woman.

Doesn't it stand to reason that a little "airhead freak" would attempt to Blackmail someone like Kobe Bryant? Settle out of court on the hush for some serious paper... Like $100,000 etc etc.

Kobe gets on my nerves for NONE of the reasons I just mentioned. I just think he shoots too much and that his shot percentage would be a lot higher AND he would SCORE MORE POINTS if he PASSED MORE. That is my only beef with Kobe's game. Period.

And if my last statement didn't make any sense to you it is because you do not know the first damned thing about basketball. ONE...

Well I guess those are the people that never liked him to begin with.(Plus there was the specualtion of rape) Personally, I never liked Kobe so that whole mishap was justification for my feelings (petty, I know, but still...). I enjoyed MJ as a player but I chalked it up to every althlete was the ability to cheat, especially because of all they have going on, so I guess it depends on whether you like the guy or not.

Oh and I think Iverson also locked his wife out a couple times...great guy lol.

Fair or Not, its has alot to do with how is viewed.
He seems to point fingers at others when things go
bad, good example was saying Shaq pays off
his women. Also Karl Malone thing, where he said
he was hitting on his wife. Last year he played
poorly in game 7, this year scored 71 points before
passing for his first assist on his way to 81.
I think Magic, Jordan, and those guys were not
perfect probably had more faults than Kobe. But
one thing they did have was they made the Game
FUN, and made their team mates want to play with them.

Plust alot of folks hate him for getting Shaq out of town,
which made the Lakers, Fakers.

People get on him because he is such a great player. Everyone loves to hate a winner, especially when he is much better than their favorite athlete.

Yes he cheated on his wife as many men have in the past and will continue to do forever.

He was accused of rape, which is much different than having raped someone. Many people have been falsely accused of rape. In this case the old phrase "You can't rape a willing sole" was obviously proven.
