Hi, I really love acting, and I have been calling casting directors the whole day and no one tells me anything so I have finally have come to a conclusion that I need an agent. I am 14 years old and I really want to appear on hannah montana or disney channel, or what the hack why not anything else, hey, I am desperate. Is there a specific agent that can get me a role on disney channel or like anything else. How do I know that the agent is good, or where do I get one? How much do t hey cost. Please help me and give any advise possible.

You should try not to be too desperate, get as much experience as you can with acting, whether in school or in local theaters. Another thing you can look for are "open call" auditions in your area. Search online for more information on the business. Also, a proper agent WILL NOT ask you for money upfront to represent you, if they do they are not for real! Agents only get paid a percentage WHEN they get you a part. You can find agents offices in your area that may ask you to come and audition for them, which is not a guarantee that they will act for you. You need some experiene and possibly some acting lessons. Casting Directors and Agents will NOT talk to you.
They are busy doing their job of casting actors in projects.
Never call a Casting Director or Agent unless they ask you to call.
If you are in L.A. ask your actor friends for the name of their agent or manager. Many Hollywood kids have a Manager!
