I am doing it on Tyrannosaurus Rex being a scavenger. My title is Tyrannosaurus Rex: The Scavenger but, I dont know if i should state my opinion as my opening statement or is it fine.

I'd say that if you are happy with that title then leave it. It's not necessary to state in the title that the paper is based on your opinion as long as it is expressed within your paper that your statements are opinion, and not fact. If you are debating within the paper as to whether or not T Rex was a predator or scavenger this title may work for you:

Tyrannosaurus Rex: Elite Predator or Mighty Scavenger

Or something to that effect! Good luck with the paper and I hope I've helped.

How about "Scavenger Rex"? I do think usually plain and simple titles are best tho' because it gives the instructor a little heads up as to what the paper will be about.

it would help to add your opinion so we know exactly what ur talking about

but in our thesis class, our title is our hypothesis, can you do that with a research paper i dunno, ask the professor what they would perfer: opinion in title or not?!
