If you mean who actually takes the time to select a "Best Answer" as opposed to putting them up for voting - I do. I honestly believe that anyone who posts a question should take the time to review the answers, and then pick one as the best. I enjoy reading the responses, even if I don't agree with them or even like them, and I enjoy deciding which one is the best answer to my question. Who knows, maybe I'm just bored with too much time to waste, but there you go.

The person who posted the question chooses the best anwser they rate the anwser 1-5 stars and makes a comment on how much the anwser helped them. If they opt not to pick the best anwser themselves they can put it to a vote of anyone on yahoo anwsers, where the anwser with the most votes wins best anwser. The person who was selected for the best anwser then gets 10 points.

The person who posted the question can choose the best answer, or people on Y!A can vote for best answer, if the asker chooses not to pick. In that case, the answer with the most number of votes will win.
I always choose the best answer myself...

Someone who is looking for a specific answer to a question would choose their best answer...I've only done it a couple of times...Usually, I let it go to voters...I haven't really asked many questions...

sometimes i do choose the best answer. but other times i just take the answers that i have and let the voters choose for me. honestly, its hard to pick best answers because all of them are great.

the people that post the question..they look at all the answers..the ponder to themselves... hey.. that guy/girl had a pretty cool answer.. so they give them the best answer..it's pretty simple really.
