i never understand what this is???she says were doing some debate and i dont even know what pros and cons are??? can someone help me out!!! i tried my dictionary...i didnt find it...

pros are the good things about something and cons are the bad things about something.
ex. having a job- pro: you can make money. con- sometimes it can be hard work.

Pros and cons are simply for and against.
If you are arguing FOR something, you are pro. If you are arguing against something, you are con.
So, if the debate question is "Resolved: Premarital Sex Is Bad" and you took the side agreeing with this statement you are "pro". If you took the opposite side then you are "con". Hope this helps!

pros and cons well pros are the positive things about a subject and cons are the negative things about the same subject. example the pros and cons about shopping. pro you get stuff you want con you have to spend money to get those things. i hope i helped

Pros are good things, or positive opinions about something. Cons are the opposite, like something bad or disagreeable about something. Those are good for debates, depending on which side you are on. They are also good for lists, and Internet reviews.

Think of it as positive and negative or "for" and "against".
pro= positive or "for"
con=negative or "against"
