no, not yet. always make them wait a while
you need to call her pediatrician. they are probably closed but should have a nurse or on call # to talk to a nurse. tell them the whole story and exactly how she is acting. they will tell you to check things like her pupils dilating and to see if she can follow your finger.
she is more than likely fine, you need to call them, though

What type of surface did she hit her head on? The last thing you want anyone to do after hitting their head is to go right to sleep. Keep her awake and ask her if her heads hurts, put a cool towel on her head, 13mths old can normally tell you if something is bothering them. Look for signs like her grabbing her head wanting to go back to sleep or unable to stand. This happens around this age because their learning to walk and get into more things. Talk to her and make sure she's ok, if not see a doctor.

You should always call a doctor for a definite anwser. I would say not for a little while at least, you know you should not go to sleep if you have a concussion. Then again I dont know how hard she hit her head. My child has hit her head too, I think its happened to everybody. Having a kid in your house is like saving a life every five minutes.

depending on how hard she hit her head...look for signs of lathargic(spaced look) , or just wanting to go to sleep, vomiting..nausia feeling ........sometimes its better to be safe than sorry when it comes to a 13month old child hitting their head. To us, it may be nothing,...a bruise that will go away, but for a young child of that age, I would rather be safe than sorry and get her checked out*~ GoodLuck*
ps> if u choose to not go to the emerg...wake the child every 2hrs and ask a few questions to make sure they're ok*

No, keep her awake for a couple of hrs, call the parents & see if they would like to come get her, they may want to take her to the doctor just to be sure everything is ok.

Keep her awake otherwise by letting her sleep; she can go into a concussion!
Contact your family doctor ASAP, and if they're closed for the night, go to the emergency room.

A bruise every now and then will happen. Don't panic. Put her to bed, she is perfectly fine. If you feel better, check on her within 30 minutes and you'll see she'll be on her 1000th dream.
