whey you divide by a fraction you actually multiply it by the inverse (the bottom fraction flipped upside down)

-1 times -3/2 = 3/2

so your second problem is x = 3/2

the third problem is a little unclear but I think you are wanting to multiply the -2/3 by 2 and then add 1

in that case

y = -4/3 + 1
y = -4/3 + 3/3
y = -1/3

-1 = 2/3x: multiply both sides by 3/2
-3/2 = x

y = 2/3(2)+1
y = 4/3+1 = 2 1/3

1) 3/2 or 1.5 (positive)

2) -1/3 (edit - changed this answer, didn't see that the question had a negative number)
