I agree with the above answers. I use bittorrent. You should know what you are downloading before you download it!

I've never had a problem with BitTorrent, unless the file was corrupt by the time it got to me, which happens a lot. Many people use torrents to share viruses and spyware, whether on purpose or accidentally. I've also tried BitComet, and it works pretty well too. Open source so you can actually g et in and see how it's written before it has been compiled too, which is nice if you're a language geek like me.

Download utorrent and open the torrent. But it's not a case of viewing it, it's a tiny file which contains the information that you need to download the actual file from multiple users.

Bit Torrent
Wikipedia:
==============
BitTorrent (BT) is a peer-to-peer (P2P) communications protocol for file sharing. The protocol was designed in April 2001, implemented and first released July 2, 2001[1] by programmer Bram Cohen, and is now maintained by BitTorrent, Inc.
BitTorrent is a method of distributing large amounts of data widely without the original distributor incurring the entire costs of hardware, hosting and bandwidth resources. Instead, when data is distributed using the BitTorrent protocol, recipients each supply data to newer recipients, reducing the cost and burden on any given individual source, providing redundancy against system problems, and reducing dependence upon the original distributor.

BitTorrent
You open your torrent file with BitTorrent and then BitTorrent will proceed to download the actual file that you are looking for.
There are other programs that can open torrents, but BitTorrent is my personal favorite because it's easier to use :)

I have seen torrents try to hijack my browser.
Before you open the torrent, make sure your spyware protection and antivirus software and firewall are up to date.
Check out these:
AVG Anti-Spyware
AVG Internet Security
AdAware
Spybot Search and Destroy
Outpost Firewall
