my mom turned him in cuz im 11 and hes 22 im 20 weeks pregnant so can i get money from him?

Wow this is a sad situation. Well where would I begin. Yes you would get child support, if he has a job..(well of course not he is in jail) well the only way I see you getting child support is from the money the government gives you. They will provide you free medical and a monthly income ( not a very big income) and you get food stamps as well. You would have to check with your local Department of Social Services to find out. But you qualify for the benefits the government offers. They will process your court papers against the father for you. Putting that he owes the government back child support, if he does decide to pay you. If not the government will just put him back in jail. Hope that helps!!!

If he's in prison then NO, if say for example he's in county and he's in there for not paying child suport which obvousily that's not the case they would have him on work furlough to pay off child support. But in your case No you can't get child support. When they're in prison, which most likely he will be and needs to be they might make 10 cents an hour max and the state won't even bother having an order for that amount. I can tell you this and know what I'm talking about because I have an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and my second son's father is in prison. first off. Good for your mom!! And he deserves to go to jail. I would assume he would have to pay child support once he gets out. Go to your library and see what programs the county or the state has available for pregnant women, they're might be some funding like cash assistance, or food stamps. Or a church? Are you sure you want to keep the baby?

he needs an income to pay child support with. He will be building up debt while he's in prison and unable to pay. If you're 11 condiser adoption. An 11 year old isn't ready to be a parent.

No. You can't get child support if hes in jail but when he comes out you can and only when baby is born.

Not while he's in jail...it'll just keep adding up, what he owes you and when he gets out, he'll have to pay everyhting he's missed. Also, you won't get it for a while because you are only 11 and still in the care or your parentals.

Nope- And that is really bad. Why are you having sex when you are 11 years old? And why would a 22 year old have sex with an 11 year old. That makes him a child pretator. Good thing your mom turned him in!!!!!!

Probably not cause he has no income..... Sweetie, she turned him in for statuary Rape! You are far too young to have sex with a 22 year old man. He is an adult and you are still a child....

Yes, but I think it's in the form of welfare and that guy will have to pay back child support after he's out of incarceration. Good Luck to him and that!

If he is in jail with no income he can not pay support, although later when he has a job he could be forced to pay back support.
And with that, I think you have bigger problems than child support!!!!!!
