Ellen Vs Oprah Which Talk Show Do You Prefer? Why?

hands down ellen..i think oprah has shed enough million dollar tears for now...i always notice that oprah has been thru the same problems as all her guest.im waiting for her to say that she use to be a man so she can have that problem to...i dont like the fact that oprah does all these tribute shows to the strong black women that have made it in their field.i never see the strong white women being praised by oprah.i think she is just a bit racist myself..why doesnt she spread alittle of her money around america to help the homeless children here in her country instead of overseas...priorities are screwed up...

They're both great, but I like Ellen better cuz I think she's more hip and up to date with what the younger crowd wants to see. Oprah likes to get into some real deep issues, which if fine, but not all the time.

Thats a hard question to answer because their shows are completely different. Ellen is comedy and really awesome at it, she has a great show. But Oprah is a serious show with serious issues. So I guess its more about what you want to watch that day.

I actually like both shows. I like Ellen b/c she's funny/silly and does a lot of fun things on her show. I like Oprah b/c she's Oprah and she tends to have shows about interesting things.

I like both shows and where I live they come on at completely different times. For me, it depends on the content of the show. If it's not one for me, I just simply don't watch. Ellen is funny and entertaining and Oprah is just a brilliant woman. Both women are very entertaining to watch.

Well I do like to see Ellen Dance. Also, I heard about her remark about the Empire Commercials. I thought it was hilarious without even seeing it myself. She has the down to earth comedy. Women suck up to Oprah too much. Come on, they were all running on stage trying to dance when Robin Thicke was on the show (or whoever it was). Her show however isn't as good as it used to be. I'd watch if she still had the sute little Harpo Bumper she used to have at the end of her shows. To bad she doesn't.

Ellen, by far. Her comedy is refreshing and entertaining. She makes me laugh, really laugh, every single day. Oprah, on the other hand, has reached the point of being annoying to me. Despite her humble beginnings, she now projects the attitude of "I'm great and I know it." Sure, her show handles serious and important topics, but most of the time that's just not the type of "escape" I want in the afternoon--personally I'd much rather laugh. Oh, and having Kirstie Alley show her kind-of slimmed down body in a bikini--pretty unappealing.

Ellen, she has more interesting things.. like actors and actresses. Where Oprah has became more like the Jerry Springer show.. and really Ellen has more of what I like....

dont get me wrong oprah, is awesome and the coolest person, but i rather watch ellen, but if ellen was cancelled then i would watch oprah, but ellen is cool too she dances on air, and plays music, and is alot cooler and has alot of energy........
