They say that you are supposed to do those "self checks" for lumps and tumors. What does the epidydimis supposed to feel like? Can you tell it from the other structures like veins and cords down there?

It's on the back side of the testicle. Let me grab a link to an illustration. Here it is:

It's not like a firm, hard lump attached to the the testicle, but you should be able to tell where it is, since you have them on both. And yeah, I can tell it apart.
