Depends on how long your night time routine is. If you have a 30 minute bed time routine (PJs, book, songs, cuddling, etc), then you'll have to take that into account. And if you'd like to play or go for a walk before bed you'll have to take that into account also. You'll probably want dinner to come as late as possible for making it through the night purposes, so take your night time activities into account. You'd probably want to have the feeding time end no later than 7:30, so if it takes him 30 minutes to eat I'd suggest starting at 7pm. As he gets closer to a year old and you transition down to just 3 meals and a couple of snacks per day, you can move that back to closer to your dinner time.

You can do dinner at 5 or 6 and nurse or give a bottle before bed time, just depending on you child's schedule.

I would say about four hours from the time you get done feeding him lunch.
