An interesting question. Some of it is about a general lack of observation by the Muggles, or their thinking theyhad just not looked closely. Also, I suspect that there is some other magic working or maybe MOM staff around to help Muggles "forget" what they saw.

Yeah, Muggles in the book don't usually see people go through walls. But even if they did, they wouldn't dare say what they saw to anyone out of fear of being called crazy, like the Prime Minister in the beginning of the sixth book.
So, even if they did notice, they would instead deny what they saw like Vernon Dursley does.
(Personally, I think this is why few Muggles are chosen to enter Hogwarts and the wizarding world. Denial of what may be supernatural cuts off a Muggle's possible magical ability.)
PS: I love the Harry Potter series and I just finished the English Language and Composition AP Test.
See what happens when you combine the two? :D

ok it particularly is like with the knight bus. there's a line while harry ask if the muggles can see them and the the pinnacle says : muggles they don't see any ingredient do they. i think if the muggle substitute into particularly paying interest the may be waiting to work out them however the ingredient of the witches and wizards being waiting to run with the aid of wall with muggles there is to coach that as quickly as harry theory he substitute into basically a classic toddler that there substitute into genuinely lots of magic happening around him that the muggle international and the wizarding wold are not that a techniques aside and that they not so different

they are too absorbed in themselves to notice them.
if they notice; they would think it wasn't real or it was trick of light.
we have human instincts to make up reason for stuff you can't explain
