Are neocons communists?

1. They keep close ties to China, and many have received funding from that country.

2. They believe in limiting the rights of the citizens and creating a police state.

3. A one-party system is one they continually fantasize about, asking the people to abandon the Democrats.

4. They are striving to create a small elite with a mass of workers with no rights underneath, just like it was in the Soviet Union under Stalin.

3) Again, could just as easily indicate Fascism as Communism.

4) Arguably, what Stalin did was a betrayal of Communist ideals, but, in any case, that's clearly not what the neocons are striving for - if they were, they wouldn't be so keen on offshoring.

I don't think so. After all, Communism at least created baseline living conditions that all people could be assured of having. Neocons much prefer that you be productive for a multinational corporation or die.

The irony of the neocon wing of the Republican party is that they were originally liberal Republicans and Democrats who thought that the textbook liberal position on the military was wrong, especially regarding helping Israel (they thought that we couldn't ever help Israel kill enough of their neighbors). In other words, they're highly liberal, except for a tendency to want to bomb the living hell out of anyone threatening their cashflow, or any brown people, and the fact that they want to take the reins of government off the rich and plant them squarely on the shoulders of everyone else. They love the idea of a huge government keeping its eye on you at all times. They love government spending going to unaccountable corporations to fatten up their profits. They're not communist at all, quite the opposite, they'd fight tooth and nail against socialism if you offered it to them.

But then again, in spite of their name, the first people the Nazis killed were the Socialists, so what's that saying?

Isn't communism an economic model? I see what you're saying, but no. Neocons are not communists. Liberals would lean more that way than a neocon. Neocons are for forcing their beliefs upon the rest of society via religion and tradition. Communism alone is a voluntary deal. It doesn't work when it's forced.
