1. Eat less.
2. Exercise more.

Every diet sums up to burning more calories than you put in... with all the low-carb hype these days, people forget that the Atkins and South Beach diets and their clones are still quite low-cal if followed correctly. A healthy weight loss rate is 2 pounds a week. That equates to about 7000 calories. I suggest you keep a food diary and write everything down in it that you eat... there is a good online one at fitday.com. And I mean *everything*: a single 12 ounce soda is ~150 calories. If you are trying to eat less than 1500 calories a day (for example), you've just consumed 10% of your daily ration. And it took you about five minutes and didn't satisfy your hunger. So write down *everything* that goes in your mouth.

Make your food choices wisely. If you are hungry, snack on veggies, some nuts, or a string cheese rather than candy... lower calorie and more satisfying. Don't starve yourself, eat several small meals throughout the day. If you drink, lower it down... alcohol is hugely caloric.

Start incorporating exercise into your daily routine. Instead of eating lunch at your desk, go for a brisk walk. Join a gym: the payments you have to make are good motivation to keep going.

you may be doing yourself more harm than good by not eating much. of course, to best answer this question i'd need to know a lot more about your diet, your body size and shape, your exercise level, and your lifestyle. but with the info given, here goes...

your body needs to receive a certain amount of calories a day (which are different for each person and are based on many factors) to keep your metabolism running at optimum speed. if you eat too little, your body goes into starvation/conservation mode and begins to hoard all the calories it can get in a way that ends up STORING the energy onto you as added pounds. to best facilitate weight loss (assuming you would benefit from weight loss to begin with, which i can't be sure of either way) you need to establish a happy medium between eating too little and eating too much. if you eat too little, your body will never let go of the calories it's so desperately trying to conserve... and if you eat too much, your body won't be able to get rid of them fast enough and they will store as added fat.

moral of the story: eat enough to feel good during the day. if you can't lose the weight and you are exercising multiple times a week and working up a good sweat, try adding some more food (low fat, lots of fruits and veggies, lean proteins, good fiber options) to your diet to see if that will jumpstart your metabolism. in the end, the extra calories may end up helping you lose weight. it sounds backwards, but it's a legitimate and scientifically substantiated principle.

i think first of all you should write down what you eat and don't be shy or embarrased about it cause it might be what you eat if you are having trouble. Second just start a execise plan and stick to it. It may be hard but you will be happy with the results in the end

try drinking liquids when you feel hungry and make sure that soda is not part of those liquids. Also make sure that you excercise and eat healthy things.
